Sex Education
Lets start off with a current fave that Iâm obsessing over, and must admit, bringing up at any chance I can get
If sitting through âThe Talkâ with your parents wasnât enough, why not relive all those awkward and totally relatable moments of your teenage years again. Filled to the brim with immature jokes, sexual innuendos and straight up comedy gold, this show is soon to be your new fave. We are living for Dr Milburn (Otisâ Mum), and her no f**ks given attitude toward awkward conversations. But the pick of the bunch has to be Eric (Otisâ Best friend). He absolutely kills it, providing us with the 90âs vibe wardrobe of our dreams, and of course his epic one liners, which one in particular couldnât be any more appropriate right now.
So before diving into that mound of homemade popcorn, take some advice from our mate Eric.
Iâll just leave this hereâŚ
Love is Blind
The perfect show for finding quarantine love, you dont even have to meet them in real life!
Let me preface this with some of my qualifications, I am a self confessed Reality Tv Professional (addict), morning or night youâll catch me bingeing the latest Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules or anything just a little bit trash really. But let me tell you this is unlike any other, when I say everyone in this show is a legit lunatic I mean it! (And I love it). Imagine never meeting someone in real life, only speaking to them through a weird-ass light up wall and oh yeah getting engaged in 5 days?! Well yep thatâs what this show is all about. With all this social distancing going theres never been a better time to learn how to love with walls between you, SO, lets get messy ladies!
Next in Fashion
If youâve ever been a fan of Project runway or RuPauls Drag race, then girl do I have the show for you. This baby is the best of both worlds, Top up and coming designers battling it out for a spot on net-a-porter, with plenty of drama and sass. Live your fashion designer dreams through the tv, without the heartbreak or pin pricked fingers!
Did I mention Tan France and Alexa Chung are the hosts, I mean Câmon nufâ said!
Cheer
If you havenât seen this yet, where have you been girl?!
Remember when you were younger busting it out to your VHS tapes of Kirsten Dunst in Bring it On? Times that by 1000 and youâve got Cheer! These are some badass athletes that are sure to bring you off the couch (Keep practicing that double back handspring girl x )
Settle in for 6 hours of cheerleading goodness, and be prepared to think your the next Navaro star (Just like I did) Tryouts for my squad start next week, lucky youâve got copious amounts of time at home to get practicing!
The Bold Type
Iâve said it before, and I will most definitely say it again, We Love, Love, Love âThe Bold Typeâ here at PM! This is a must watch for all our girl power babes out there, and with a new season currently running, now is the perfect time to start! Think Devil Wears Prada meets Gossip Girl Vibes, with less bitchyness and a whole lotta sauciness. These boss babes continually servinâ looks and life lessons, we stan for this STAN goodie
The Nanny
An oldie, but still an absolute goodie
How could I forget our ultimate style qween, Fran Fine, from the 90âs series âThe Nannyâ. Giving us total style envy even 24 years later, Oh how I wish I could rock those leopard on zebra print combos, and have hair big enough to touch the ceiling. Apart from the epic outfits, this show has arguably one of the best cast of characters Iâve ever seen. There is someone for everyone, from Mr Hottie Sheffield and groovy Grandma Yetty, to the sassy butler Niles, who constantly throws shade at the rest of them. Do yourself a favour and dive into this major throwback, you wonât regret it!
Even if you donât watch the series (major regrets) you can still take some serious style cues from Franâs endless and totally dramatic wardrobe. Follow WhatFranWore for goals, goals, goals!
So now youâve got the low down, the hardest part is deciding what to watch first! But gals, whatever you do, DO NOT watch pandemic
